In distributed connection technology, passive distributor systems link the peripheral devices and the PLC controller. Phoenix Contact offers the most comprehensive range of sensor/actuator cabling on the market. Passive M5, M8 and M12 cabling, complete with distributor boxes, cables and configurable connectors, is available as standard. To be able to react flexibly to customer wishes, conductors and boxes can be manufactured in different versions with specific conductors lengths and types (e.g. halogen-free). To make it easier for customers to select from among the different product groups, the SAC Select software makes it possible to configure the sensor/actuator cabling according to one’s own needs.

Sensor/Actuator cable
Phoenix Contact has expanded their range of sensor/actuators for mechanical and plant engineering. Preassembled conductors with 3 to 17 positions are available.

Sensor/Actuator boxes
Cabling systems with IP65/67/69K degrees of protection allow sensors and actuators to be wired economically and efficiently in the field level. Instead of numerous individual conductors, a master cable is laid from the control unit to the sensors and actuators are directly connected on site.

Sensor/Actuator plugs
IWith M12/M8 round connectors allow different conductors to be connoted quickly and without error. For connection on the device side, M12/M8 flush-type sockets and plugs are available with dip solder contacts foe PCB mounting or with individual wires attached.

Phoenix Contact now offers a seamless program for sensor/actuator cabling in the food industry made up of stainless steel.
